Appellate Practice Seminar for Managing Attorneys and Clerks provided by Counsel Press – February 12, 2014

Counsel Press cordially invites managing attorneys and clerks to a comprehensive appellate practice seminar. The program, titled "Appeals: How to Take Them and Win Them", focuses on the appellate process in New York’s appeals courts as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The program also covers practical tips and strategies for writing powerful appellate briefs and delivering persuasive oral arguments; it concludes with various ethical considerations facing appellate practitioners and landmines to avoid. This timely and highly informative program offers a deep-dive into the rules and procedures, and it provides answers to many questions that the managing attorneys and clerks are frequently asked by their colleagues.
