Janet Bennett

Janet Risley Bennett earned her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. Janet brings over 30 years of professional experience in Texas, with 27 of them at Thomson Reuters in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where she has focused on legal analytics and increasing efficiencies through the use of legal technology tools. Receiving her certification in 2022, Janet also recently completed the Business Analytics program at Harvard. She is experienced and passionate about helping her clients experience success through the appellate process at Counsel Press. Ms. Bennett specializes in assisting Counsel Press clients in their matters within the Texas appellate courts. She works closely with the attorneys and support staff to guide them through the complicated appellate system and ensures compliance with all rules and procedures in a timely fashion while ensuring the highest quality possible.
