Alaine Patti-Jelsvik

Alaine Patti-Jelsvik is a seasoned legal professional specializing in appellate support for Counsel Press clients across California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and all Federal Circuit Courts, with a concentrated focus on the Ninth Circuit, Tenth Circuit, and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal.

Alaine first joined Counsel Press’s Los Angeles team in 2013, and she delivers unmatched expertise in appellate filings, guiding Counsel Press clients through complex procedural requirements with precision and clarity. A seasoned civil trial litigator, licensed in California, She litigated in California Superior and District Courts as well as Nevada Justice and District Courts, with strong focus on contracts and collection litigation, FDCPA defense, personal injury, insurance defense, and premises liability.

Alaine earned her J.D. with honors from Whittier College School of Law, where she ranked fifth in her first-year class, served as President of the Student Bar Association, and was a published member of the Whittier Law Review. She also served as the Ninth Circuit Lieutenant Governor of the ABA Law Student Division. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California and an A.A. from Los Angeles Valley College, where she served as President of the Associated Student Union and represented 15 community colleges on the California Community Colleges Board of Governors.
