Since joining Counsel Press in 2005, Cate Simpson has worked on thousands of appellate matters for clients across the country. Ms. Simpson focuses on filings within the Virginia, West Virginia and South Carolina state courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 4th and 11th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States. As one of Counsel Press' Senior Appellate Consultants, Ms. Simpson not only has a deep understanding of the appellate rules and procedures, but also leads a seasoned team in our Richmond office. Ms. Simpson's tremendous experience in the requirements of appellate practice makes her an invaluable asset to your team when filing any appeal.

Ms. Simpson has assisted on many very large and complicated matters where Counsel Press staff and geographic resources were key to accomplishing the “impossible” in these important matters. Cate also works very closely with appointed counsel on cases filing in Virginia, West Virginia, and the 4th Circuit courts of appeals. She is often called upon to creatively assist attorneys with limited resources and works very hard to produce significant results.

The Richmond office is one of Counsel Press’ sophisticated production facilities that produces our client's print and electronic filings. We employ the latest technology to connect, in real-time, each of our production facilities with our New York headquarters location so that we may offer all of our resources to each of our clients from coast to coast and in all time zones.

I found your company to be both helpful and timely. The work that your company has done for my firm has been above and beyond merely printing and delivering documents. Your staff's knowledge of the rules and procedures for the appellate courts was invaluable.

Counsel Press has been assisting us for at least as long as I have been with this firm, which is going on 20 years. They are the best in the business!

says:

“I must say that my experiences with Counsel Press are far and away better than any I’ve had with other printers. I don’t lose any sleep as to whether everything is in order.”

Cynthia J. Caranna
Russell & Russell, P.C.
Falls Church, Virginia 22046 says:

We wanted to thank you for the great job you did in assisting our firm with our appeal to the Virginia Supreme Court (the "Court"), in not only filing our appeal briefs, but in answering our questions of procedures and document formatting. We turned to Counsel Press when a competitor was unable to give us definitive answers and assurances as to the timely filing of our documents with the Court.

John Tarley, Jr.
Spirn, Tarley, Robinson & Tarley, P.L.L.C.
Williamsburg, VA says:

Counsel Press impressed me with their professionalism and reliability. The product they produced for my appeal brief was very well done and, in my opinion, superior in quality to that prepared by my opposing counsel who used a competing company. Without a doubt, I will rely upon Counsel Press for my legal printing needs.
