Mathew Planalp

Mathew is an experienced appellate consultant who led the editing and compliance teams at Cockle Legal Briefs for more than a decade prior to its acquisition by Counsel Press. He has played a pivotal role in guiding law firms nationwide through the complexities of filing appeals to the United States Supreme Court and Federal Courts of Appeals.

His diverse legal background includes roles at Koley Jessen, P.C., where he assisted in responding to an extensive investigation initiated by the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, and as a law clerk at Landoe Brown, P.C., where he contributed research and legal documents for various civil and criminal cases.

A graduate of Creighton University School of Law, Mathew holds an advanced certification in mediation and a degree in Journalism from Colorado State University, where he was honored as Feature Writer of the Year.
